Can you believe the Hawks?

Who would have thunk that at the beginning of the season the Atlanta Hawks would be the last undefeated team. I bet there are a few people with Hawks tickets that believed all along, but for the rest of us it has come as a complete surprise. We all knew that the Hawks were going to be good this year, but really, how many of thought they would be this good.

Al Horford has been downright dominating, as many NBA insiders believed he would be. While everyone knew he had inmate talent, his ascension as a superior rebounder has been a surprise to many. Look for Horford just to get better, especially with talent like he has around him

Joe Johnson has picked up where he left off, leading the team in points, assist and minutes played. Joe Johnson has once again surfaced as an elite NBA player, and if he keeps it up all season there is no limit to where the Hawks can go. That's a good reason why Hawks tickets are selling as well as they are! We haven't seen excitement like that since.. well last year's NBA Finals.

Mike Bibby has shown that he is one of the best teammates in the league, handing out assists like they are going out of style. he has been a long-time secret in the NBA for his on the court intelligence and basketball IQ. Look for big things out of Bibby, the ten-year NBA veteran.

So far the Hawks have been able to shut down the NBA's best on both coasts. They took down Orland in their first game in a 99-85 show in which Joe Johnson scored 25 points. Next up they took care of the new-look Philadelphia 76ers with Johnson exploding for 35 tickets. They then shut down Chris Paul and the Charlotte Hornets in a 87-79 defensive show. It looks like that low scoring affair was enough to get the Atlanta Hawks to put up some major points against the Toronto Raptors, which are a dangerous team. The Hawks were then able to shut down both the Thunder and the Bulls on the road. Its been a great start to the season but look for more of the same as the Hawks continue to put up big points.

With a start to the season like this one, the sky is the limit for this team. They have a talented and determined roster that wants to prove that their seven-game series against the NBA champs was no fluke. Look for Hawks tickets to continue to sell well all season long. If you live in the Atlanta area, you definitely have to get to a game ASAP. There is nothing quite like it.
